Black Hole (emissive)

Description:
This is a Black Hole which is emitting energy, generally because it is absorbing matter from a nearby source.  As a black hole pulls matter into it, an accretion disc will form around an equator, reaching phenomenal temperatures and releasing really substantial amounts of energy.  The location of an emissive black hole will be obvious to anyone in the general neighborhood with any abilities in astronomy in any wavelength.  Surviving in the vicinity of such a black hole, however, will be quite difficult.

Provides:
Development Data for:
  • High Gravity Gradients
  • Kernels
  • Weapons (magnetic fields, energy intensity, etc.)
  • Fusion (that accretion disc, dontcha' know)
