Description:

    This is a clumping of matter that is in the process of condensing into a star.  This process takes thousands to millions of years, and the protostar gets hotter and hotter as it goes along.  There will be an accretion disc kind of thing around it until fusion starts, so being in orbit of it will be difficult unless the habitat is actually at local rest in this thickening of matter around the protostar's equator.
