    This is the technology of having both a fusion ramjet and an antimatter drive on the same vessel, and the obvious synergies from the combination.  It has the fuel consumption patterns of the Ramjet, (at least on the long parts of the journey) and the acceleration and energy storage capacity of an antimatter craft.  It can burn a fraction of its antimatter getting to ramjet speed, use some of the fusion energy (while traveling at reduced speed) to replenish its antimatter fuel, and go the rest of the trip using no fuel (at full ramjet speed).  These vessels might also have a higher max ramjetting speed than simple ramjets.
