Description:
This is the technology of the interfaces between sentient beings and their computers.  The efficiency of the interface is usually the limiting factor in the productivity of any worker using a computer.  For example, in the real world at present, the primary input interfaces are keyboard and mouse.  The primary output interface is the monitor.  (There are an incredible number of relatively minor peripherals, but these are the important things.)
Improvements in this development could take the form of incremental improvements or quantized improvements.  There should be several quanta that the developments could jump to (representing new interface devices), with slow incremental improvement beyond that.  The random chance of developing a new interface device is small, but the payoff is great.

The development level should be either a multiplier in the productivity increase of workers granted by computers, or should change the cap in that productivity increase (depending on universe).
