Description:
    This is the science of understanding the naturally occurring interactions between life forms in their natural environment.  Very complex patterns can develop, and the feedbacks involved can be very difficult to unravel.  Developing computerized models of ecosystems can aid in understanding complex relationships, and in keeping track of those which are already understood.
