Required or Contributory Development:
  • Physics Mathematics
  • Pure Mathematics
Observations:
  • Electromagnetic effects (automatic?)

Description:
E&M is the study of both electrical and magnetic effects, and later the tradeoff between the two.  In the early phases of their discovery in the real world, the two were considered separate topics, but as later work showed the two to be intrinsically intertwined, they eventually became a single subject.
