Description:
Element Alchemy is th
eability to turn one element into another. The very lowest levels
of this technology can be achieved with only nuclear physics
(real-world nuclear power plants routinely turn nonradioactive
Uranium-238 into the radioactive nuclear fuel Plutonium-239, for
example) but to make the process cheap and quick enough for mass
quanitities requires more. It may prove possible to create
elements which don't exist naturally this way.
Improvements to Element Alchemy (dev) decrease the
cost of conversion and increase the speed at which conversion can take
place.
