Description:
    In a sense, this is the ultimate slower-than-light propulsion technology.  It consists of (somehow) reducing or negating the inertia of an object, accelerating it up to absurd speed, and then bringing the inertia back.  This should allow some absurdly-close-to-lightspeed speeds to be achieved.  This is often used in science fiction, but almost never explained (as it doesn't make much sense, seeing as it violates conservation of energy).  The allowing/disallowing of this technology really shapes the nature of a universe.
