Description:
A laser is a device
that produces a coherent beam of light of very nearly a single
frequency. This property is useful in lots of stuff, from from
tiny lasers used in cd and dvd data storage to gargantuan high-powered
lasers to blast your enemy to tiny bits from the far side of the solar
system. Neat, huh?
