Description:
This is the
technology of jet and rocket propulsion; specifically those powered by
chemical means. Aviation is just a subfield of this, as it has
little impact on an interplanetary scale. Rocketry (especially
early chemical rocketry) is the least technologically demanding way to
get into space for the first time.
