Description:
This technology consists of refining the Self-Support module to the point where it can be made to fit within a mobile spacecraft.  The first generation of self-supporting spacecraft are likely to be the largest you are able to integrate in mere decades.  It is only through vast research effort that this method can be used to make small manned spacecraft that don't run out of consumables before they can reach their destination.  The self-support module for ships depends on the same self-support development as does the Self-Support module for Habitats.
The other alternative for sub-luminal travel is to use hibernation with consumable-using spacecraft.
