Description:
Superconductors are
materials which can conduct electricity with no resistance, providing
certain conditions are met. Essentially, these conditions boil
down to the fact that the sum of the temperature and the amount of
current flowing must be below a certain critical value, defined by the
material in question. Advances in superconductor development
increase this value. How this should be conducted within the game
remains to be seen.
There's a high amount of random chance involved in
discovering this technology, as the probability of accidentally
creating the right conditions to observe it by accident are quite low.
